CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Queen City News learned on Monday that Reverend Franklin Graham will deliver the invocation at President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.
He spoke last year at the Republican National Convention and at Trump’s first inauguration in 2017.
His father, the late Reverend Billy Graham, has spoken at seven inaugurations for both Democrat and Republican presidents including Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Herbert Walker Bush, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
Queen City News also learned that country music star Carrie Underwood will perform “America the Beautiful” just ahead of Trump’s official swearing-in next Monday.
