Local school districts delayed or on remote learning Tuesday

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Several school districts in the greater Charlotte area are deciding to delay school or move to eLearning on Tuesday due to icy conditions.

Delays

• Alexander County Schools: 2-hour delay
• Avery County Schools: 3-hour delay
• Burke County Schools: 2-hour delay
• Caldwell County Schools: 2-hour delay
• Cleveland County Schools: 2-hour delay
• Iredell County Schools: 3-hour delay
• Lincoln County Schools: 2-hour delay
• Newton-Conover Schools: 2-hour delay
• Watauga County Schools: 2-hour delay

Remote Learning

• Ashe County Schools starting at 10 a.m.
• Rowan-Salisbury Schools
