CORNELIUS, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Multiple agencies battled an early morning house fire in Cornelius.
Cornelius-Lemley and Davidson fire departments were dispatched to the 20000 block of Floral Lane for a house fire around 3 a.m. on Sunday.
Engine 6 arrived first to find heavy fire coming from a single-story home. Crews completed a primary search of the home and confirmed no one was inside the home.
Both agencies operated on the scene for around 4 hours before clearing.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Mecklenburg County Fire Marshals Office.
