CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Three people are hurt after an early-morning crash on I-77 in southwest Charlotte, according to Medic.
The crash was reported around 4:15 a.m. on Sunday near Clanton Road (Mile Marker 7). Medic said three people were transported to a local hospital all with serious injuries.
According to NCDOT, two of four lanes of I-77 south were closed at Exit 7. Officials suggested drivers take Exit 9A, turn right onto West Blvd, and then left onto Billy Graham Parkway back to I-77.
The roadway is expected to reopen at 7:30 a.m., although there could still be residual traffic from the crash.
