Kevin Aker Obituary, Death; – The Warrick County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the identity of a driver who lost his life in an accident on State Road 68 in Lynnville on Thursday.
As reported by the sheriff’s office, the incident occurred around 5:19 p.m. when a driver traveling west crossed the center line and collided head-on with another vehicle. The westbound driver informed authorities that he was experiencing fatigue and may have fallen asleep at the wheel.
The deceased driver of the second vehicle has been identified as 68-year-old Kevin Aker from Newburgh, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the westbound vehicle, along with a passenger in Aker’s vehicle, was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
