Weston Wade Obituary, Death; – The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into a deadly shooting that transpired in the Meyers Lake vicinity on Thursday afternoon.
The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Weston Wade, as confirmed by Stark County Coroner Chief Investigator Harry Campbell. Wade was declared deceased at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital at 3:41 p.m., following a call to law enforcement that was received at 3:07 p.m. Sheriff George Maier informed Jordan Miller News that the incident was of a domestic nature, resulting in one fatality.
Authorities are assessing whether the shooting may have been an act of self-defense; however, Maier indicated that it is premature to reach any conclusions. The event occurred at a residence located in the 1500 block of DeVille Avenue NW. This story is still developing.
