Jerrod Owens Arrested; – A man has been arrested on charges of deliberately igniting a fire at an apartment complex in Huntsville, according to police reports.
The Huntsville Police Department stated that a warrant was issued for Jerrod Owens in connection with the fire that occurred on October 14 at 4144 Memorial Parkway, which is associated with the Fern Parc Apartment Complex. In arson investigations, the lead investigator collaborates with fire marshals from Huntsville Fire & Rescue.
It has been reported that the fire marshal interviewed Owens, during which he provided a statement that led the marshal to suspect that the fire was set intentionally. Following this information being communicated to the lead investigator, a warrant for Owens was subsequently issued by the Huntsville Police.
Owens was taken into custody and booked at the Madison County Jail on December 11. He faces multiple charges, including resisting arrest, obstructing justice by using a false identity, first-degree arson, possession of methamphetamine, and a warrant for prowling.
