Malcolm Leonard Kelly Obituary, Death; – A man has been apprehended in connection with a deadly hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of a bicyclist at the intersection of Murphey Road and Milledgeville Road.
As reported by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, the bicyclist was hit by an unknown vehicle that subsequently left the scene. The victim later died from their injuries. The coroner has confirmed the identity of the victim as 47-year-old Malcolm Leonard Kelly.
Authorities successfully identified both the driver and the vehicle involved in the incident. Anthony Way has been arrested and is facing charges. Way is charged with vehicular homicide and fleeing the scene of an accident, both of which are classified as felonies.
