David Romero Obituary, Death; – A tragic accident in Upper Marlboro resulted in the death of a 22-year-old passenger on Friday afternoon, as reported by officials.
The incident took place around 3:45 p.m. at the junction of Ritchie Marlboro Road and Sansbury Road. Law enforcement and emergency responders arrived at the location and discovered two vehicles involved in the incident.
The passenger, named David Romero from Upper Marlboro, was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival. The drivers of both vehicles suffered injuries that were not deemed life-threatening.
A preliminary investigation conducted by the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit revealed that the two vehicles collided at the intersection; however, the precise cause of the accident is still under investigation.
