Israel Maldonado Obituary, Death; – A 14-year-old boy from Whiting, Indiana, was shot multiple times and fatally wounded on Sunday evening in South Chicago, as reported by law enforcement officials.
According to initial investigations, the shooting occurred shortly before 6 p.m. in the 8800 block of South Houston Avenue. A male victim was transported to a local hospital with gunshot wounds, including one to the neck, one to the chest, two to the back, and one to the left hand. He was declared deceased at the hospital.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as Israel Maldonado, 14, from Whiting, Indiana. Authorities have stated that no suspects are currently in custody, and detectives from Area Two are conducting an investigation.
