Hector Manuel Garcia Gomez Obituary, Death; – Authorities have identified a Palmerton man who was fatally shot on Saturday evening in a parking lot located in Whitehall Township. Hector Manuel Garcia Gomez, aged 46, succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds sustained during the incident, which occurred shortly after 6 p.m. in the parking lot at 1155 MacArthur Road. According to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio, Gomez was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest at 7:43 p.m.
