In the early morning hours of Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2024, a tragic motorcycle crash occurred in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
The incident took place at approximately 12:30 AM, when a motorcycle crashed into a cinder block mailbox near the intersection of Brooks Street SE and Waynel Circle SE. The collision caused a fire, which was later extinguished by authorities.
Emergency responders provided aid to the two individuals involved, identified as 28-year-old Scott Morris of Destin and 28-year-old Elizabeth Fletcher of Valparaiso.
Unfortunately, Morris was pronounced dead at the scene, and Fletcher was rushed to a hospital where she was later declared deceased. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
