On March 13, 2024, a devastating accident occurred near Mountain Home, Arkansas, resulting in the loss of 23-year-old Savannah Burton and two of her young children. The incident has left the community in mourning and has prompted discussions about road safety measures in the area.
The Arkansas State Police reported that Savannah Burton was driving her vehicle on State Highway 201 near the Pigeon Creek bridge when she lost control, causing the car to leave the roadway and become submerged in Lake Norfork. The accident occurred shortly after noon.
Tragically, Savannah and two of her children, 7-year-old Londyn Cooney and 6-month-old Sydney Steele, lost their lives in the accident.
