Morgan Glover Death, Obituary – A tragic crash early Sunday morning on GA 400 in Buckhead has claimed the life of 24-year-old Morgan Glover. According to Atlanta police, the incident occurred around 5:10 a.m. near Lenox Road NE when Glover’s Kia Sorento collided head-on with a Toyota RAV4. Initial reports suggest that one of the vehicles was traveling in the wrong direction, leading to the fatal crash.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find Glover, the driver of the Kia, unresponsive and not breathing. She was pronounced dead on-site by medical personnel. The driver of the Toyota, a 52-year-old man, was conscious but not alert and was quickly transported to the hospital for treatment. His condition is currently unknown, but he was reportedly breathing at the time of the accident.
Witnesses described the terrifying moments before the crash. Latasha Barnes, who was on her way to work, said she narrowly avoided the wrong-way vehicle. “I kept blowing the horn, hoping the car would slow down, but it didn’t,” she recalled. “It just kept coming straight at me.”
The collision caused significant disruption to traffic, shutting down all lanes of GA 400 North for several hours as the investigation continued. The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) diverted traffic to Sidney Marcus Boulevard while emergency crews worked to clear the scene. By 10 a.m., the road had reopened.
At this time, Atlanta police are continuing their investigation into the cause of the crash, though preliminary findings suggest one of the vehicles may have been driving in the wrong direction. The incident has raised concerns about road safety and the dangers of wrong-way driving.
