MIDDLETOWN, PA – A Powerball® ticket worth $1 million was sold at a Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in Delaware County for the drawing on October 9.
The winning ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn, which were 25, 32, 43, 53, and 66, but did not match the red Powerball® number, 10. Tara Gas LLC, located at 555 East Baltimore Avenue in Clifton Heights, will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
Winners remain unidentified until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball® winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes. Winning tickets purchased at a retailer should be signed on the back, while online winnings are credited to a player’s account after processing. For information on filing a claim, players can visit palottery.com.
In the Monday drawing, more than 35,800 other PA Lottery Powerball® tickets won various prizes, including over 6,900 tickets purchased with Power Play® and more than 4,000 with Double Play®. The Powerball® jackpot has rolled to an estimated annuity value of $364 million, or $179 million cash, for the next drawing on Saturday, October 12.
