Donald Trump took to social media to express his outrage over a recent “60 Minutes” interview with Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump accused the program and CBS of manipulating the interview to make Harris look better while claiming that they selectively edit or remove his own statements when he’s interviewed.
He went as far as to call “60 Minutes” a “threat to democracy” and claimed that the network engages in the “greatest fraud in broadcast history.”
In his online tirade, Trump didn’t hold back, suggesting that CBS should lose its broadcast license and that the rights should be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
A side by side video of the two answers to the same question is making its rounds on social media this week.
His criticism was aimed at what he perceives as a biased media landscape, where major news organizations allegedly favor Democrats while undermining conservative voices.
Trump has a history of sparring with “60 Minutes” and mainstream media outlets, frequently accusing them of being unfair in their coverage of him or other conservative figures. This latest outburst fits a familiar pattern of his media criticism, where he claims that major networks intentionally misrepresent his views or amplify those of his political opponents.
It’s worth noting that the tension between Trump and “60 Minutes” isn’t new.
In 2020, he famously walked out of an interview with the show’s host, Lesley Stahl, accusing her of being biased and refusing to discuss certain topics. So, this recent post isn’t just a one-off critique—it’s part of a longstanding feud between Trump and the media.
