Stafford, VA – A series of incidents were reported in Stafford County, involving cases of assault, driving under the influence, and larceny. These incidents took place in several locations including high schools and other parts of the county.
On Monday, Brooke Point High School experienced an assault in the girl’s bathroom at 7:30 a.m. Deputy D.J. Taylor was informed of a fight between a victim and another student following a hallway bump. A second student joined in, leading to the intervention of school staff. A criminal complaint for assault and battery was filed against both students, along with charges for assaulting school staff.
Later that day at 11:09 a.m., Colonial Forge High School witnessed another altercation. Deputy G.M. Lum was alerted to a mutual fight between two students which staff later broke up. A third student then became involved, resulting in a charge of assault and battery against her. The original combatants were not charged.
At 1:55 p.m., a disturbance in North Stafford High School’s boy’s bathroom drew Deputy T.K. Phillips’ attention. Two students were fighting, which caused a sink to detach from the wall. Both participants were detained.
