WASHINGTON, D.C.— Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Monday morning in Southeast D.C., leaving one man dead.
Officers from the Sixth District responded to the 4100 block of Southern Avenue around 9:41 a.m. and found 34-year-old Dominic Johnson of Capitol Heights, MD, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by Prince George’s County Fire and EMS personnel, Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
