GLEN BURNIE, Md. — Five individuals were arrested Tuesday night following an assault with a pellet gun and the discovery of drugs and firearms at an apartment in Glen Burnie, according to police. The incident occurred around 10:55 p.m. on October 8 in the 100 block of Faywood Court.
Police said a male victim was walking with a friend when they were confronted by a group of suspects who questioned his presence in the neighborhood. One suspect shot the victim in the face with a pellet gun. The victim and his friend managed to escape and directed officers to the suspects, who fled into a nearby apartment complex.
Officers stopped a white Mercedes attempting to leave the scene and detained the driver, identified as 35-year-old Whitney Ann Holland. A search of the vehicle yielded suspected PCP. Another suspect, 56-year-old Antoine Darnell Artis, was found in an apartment stairwell with a handgun.
Authorities executed a search warrant on the suspect’s apartment, leading to the seizure of a .25 caliber handgun, two pellet guns, and various drugs, including 52.72 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 20.08 grams of cocaine, 7.27 grams of heroin, 142.62 grams of PCP, as well as Suboxone strips and pills. Drug distribution paraphernalia was also found.
The assault suspect, 36-year-old Jeremy Oliver, was located inside the apartment along with two other individuals who had outstanding warrants, 55-year-old Milton Arthur Williams and 37-year-old Lauryn Nicole Acosta.
The suspects face multiple charges, including assault, drug possession with intent to distribute, and weapons violations. Police did not provide details on the victim’s condition following the assault.
