Philadelphia, PA — Authorities are searching for two suspects involved in a shooting that left a 17-year-old male critically injured on a SEPTA bus in the 25th District. The incident occurred on Friday, October 4, 2024, at approximately 6:17 p.m. on the 3XX block of West Allegheny Avenue.
The victim was shot in the face while inside the bus. Police report that the shooter was outside the bus when he fired multiple rounds at the victim. The victim was transported to Temple University Hospital by a private vehicle and remains in critical but stable condition.
Officers recovered a weapon and four .40 caliber fired cartridge casings (FCCs) from the scene. No arrests have been made at this time.
The suspects are described as two Black males, with one between 17-20 years old and the other between 17-24 years old. Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact authorities.
