NYPD seeks public’s help in locating four missing children in Brooklyn
NEW YORK, N.Y. — The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in locating four children reported missing from the 75th Precinct in Brooklyn. The children, last seen together on Friday evening, were last observed around 6:42 p.m. near the intersection of Bradford Street and Livonia Avenue.
Authorities identified the missing individuals as Lavon Williams, 13, Major Williams, 9, Amaya Smith, 11, and Malay Williams, 11. All four children are described as Black and were last seen wearing the following:
- Lavon Williams, a 13-year-old boy from Bradford Street, was seen wearing a blue shirt, black shorts, and black-and-white Jordan 12 sneakers. He has short black hair.
- Major Williams, a 9-year-old boy from the same address, was seen wearing a green shirt, green shorts, and green-and-white sneakers. He has short dreadlocks.
- Amaya Smith, an 11-year-old girl from Queens, was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black sweatpants, and black bubble Crocs. She has box-braided hair with purple and blue tips.
- Malay Williams, also 11 and from Bradford Street, was last seen in a white Pikachu shirt, purple shorts, and pink Crocs. She has box-braided hair with yellow tips.
The children were last seen together in the East New York section of Brooklyn. Police are continuing their search and urge anyone with information about their whereabouts to contact authorities.
The investigation is ongoing, and police have not yet indicated any potential leads in the case.
