NEWARK, NJ – The Newark Department of Public Safety is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in the theft of a jacket at a local fast food restaurant. The incident occurred on Sunday when the suspect allegedly took a North Face jacket belonging to another patron.
Police responded to a theft report at the McDonald’s located on the 100 block of Ferry Street. The victim was reported to have been eating breakfast at approximately 9:30 AM. Surveillance footage captured the suspect taking the jacket from an adjacent seat.
