Anne Arundel County, MD – Anne Arundel County Police School Resource Officers responded to a medical emergency involving a student at North County High School on August 30. Officers DaRe and Madonna assisted the school’s nurse in providing life-saving measures to a student experiencing a serious emergency.
The officers, along with the nurse, were close to the incident and swiftly administered aid to the student. The student was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment, where they fully recovered.
In recognition of their prompt response and actions, Officers DaRe, Madonna, and the nurse were honored at an Anne Arundel County Board of Education public meeting. This acknowledgment highlights the critical role of swift and effective emergency response in ensuring school safety.
The community expressed gratitude to the individuals involved in this life-saving effort, underscoring the importance of immediate action during emergencies in educational settings.
