Washington, D.C. A suspect has been arrested in relation to two recent robberies in Southeast.
On Thursday, September 26, at approximately 12:25 p.m., the suspect approached a victim walking toward a bus stop in the 2400 block of L’Enfant Square Southeast. He threatened the victim with a firearm, demanded property, and snatched the victim’s bag before fleeing in a black sedan.
The following day, Friday, September 27, at approximately 10:15 a.m., the suspect again threatened a victim with a firearm as she was parking her car in the 2300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue Southeast. After demanding her belongings, he fled the scene in a black sedan.
Officers located the suspect shortly after the second robbery and arrested him. They recovered property from the robberies at the time of his arrest. Donovan Adams, 30, who has no fixed address, has been charged with two counts of Robbery and Possession of a BB Gun.
