QUEENS, N.Y. — An off-duty New York City Police Department civilian employee was arrested on Saturday night and charged with assault within the 103rd Precinct in Queens, authorities said.
The employee, identified as 32-year-old Niasia Robinson, was taken into custody at approximately 9:43 p.m., according to police reports. Robinson, a civilian worker for the NYPD, is facing charges of third-degree assault.
Details surrounding the circumstances of the incident that led to Robinson’s arrest were not immediately available. The 103rd Precinct serves the Jamaica area of Queens.
