BRIDGETON, N.J. — Staff members from the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office participated in the Bridgeton Public Schools Back to School event earlier this week, continuing their efforts to engage with the local community. The event was held on Buckshutem Road and was one of many that the Prosecutor’s Office plans to attend in the coming weeks.
Brenda and Diane, staffers from the office, represented the agency at the event, where they spoke with parents about public safety resources available through the Prosecutor’s Office. The office has committed to attending over 50 such events across the county as part of an outreach initiative aimed at increasing awareness of safety programs.
“We’re available to speak at schools, clubs, churches, and other organizations,” the office stated in a post shared on social media, highlighting the broad scope of their community engagement efforts.
Topics covered at these events focus on child safety and well-being, with the goal of fostering a safer environment for Cumberland County’s youth. This initiative is part of the office’s mission to build stronger connections between local authorities and the community.
Community members interested in having the Prosecutor’s Office visit their group are encouraged to reach out, as the office continues its outreach campaign across the county.
