GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ – A juvenile bicyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash involving a motor vehicle on Chews Landing Road, near Little Gloucester Road, Wednesday evening.
At approximately 5:58 PM, Gloucester Township Police responded to the incident. Officers at the scene found the injured juvenile in the roadway. The driver, who was not injured, remained on site and cooperated with authorities. The injured bicyclist was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Support was provided at the scene by Gloucester Twp. Squad 88, Virtua Paramedics, and Inspira EMS & Ground Transport.
An investigation is being carried out by the Gloucester Township Police Serious Crash Investigation Team (SCIT). Currently, no criminal charges have been filed, and the identities of the individuals involved are being withheld pending further examination and notifications.
