BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Authorities are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing that took place in Sunset Park over the weekend, according to the New York City Police Department.
The incident occurred on Saturday at approximately 7:43 p.m., when a 30-year-old man was involved in a dispute with an unidentified male in front of 464 60th Street. During the altercation, the suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim in the abdomen before fleeing westbound on foot along 60th Street.
Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to Maimonides Medical Center, where he was treated and is currently in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a male with a medium build and medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black hat, a black tank top, camouflage pants, and black sneakers.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or whereabouts to contact authorities.
