KEYPORT, N.J. — The America First Republicans of New Jersey hosted their third “TOO BIG TO RIG” rally in Keyport on Sunday, energizing supporters and recruiting volunteers to back former President Donald Trump in the 2024 election.
According to Mike Crispi, co-chairman of the group, more than 100 new volunteers were commissioned at the event, which is part of a broader effort to bolster Trump’s support across the state. The volunteers signed up for roles as phone bankers, ballot harvesters, poll workers, and election day challengers.
“This was our 18th event of 2024, and this one had the most energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to activism yet,” Crispi said, noting the strong turnout and engagement.
Crispi emphasized the group’s mission to ensure a fair election process, stating that “if Republicans turn out in force to vote for President Trump — the greatest president of our lifetimes — the election will be outside the margin of cheating.” He added that the group is focused on ensuring a Republican victory in New Jersey, which has not voted for a Republican presidential candidate since 1988.
The rally featured several Republican figures from across New Jersey, including Keyport Republican Chairman John Merla, former Assemblywoman Serena DiMaso, and America First Republican Co-Chairman Michael D. Byrne. The event also served as a platform for training volunteers, who will work as poll workers and election challengers to ensure their roles are recognized and properly credentialed.
As the 2024 election approaches, the America First Republicans are intensifying their efforts to secure votes, with plans to ballot harvest and mobilize voters for early and Election Day turnout. “We’re committed to sending Donald Trump back to the White House,” Crispi said.
The group has held 18 events in 2024 and plans to continue rallying support for Trump in the coming months.
