STAFFORD, VA – A guardian at Brooke Point High School is facing potential charges after a disturbance on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred around 1:50 p.m. on September 4, when a guardian disobeyed security officers directing traffic and nearly struck them.
Deputy D.J. Taylor, the school resource officer, was informed of the situation and made contact with the guardian, who had returned to the school. The individual reportedly created a scene and made threats toward school staff.
The sheriff’s office indicated that charges for disorderly conduct and making threats toward school staff are pending. Further details regarding the incident have not been released at this time.
