WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police in D.C. are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred in Northeast Washington on Sunday afternoon, leaving one man dead and a woman injured.
At approximately 2:53 p.m. on September 1, officers from the Sixth District responded to reports of a stabbing in the 900 block of Division Avenue, Northeast. Before officers arrived, a 23-year-old man suffering from stab wounds self-transported to the Sixth District police station seeking assistance. He was subsequently transported by DC Fire and EMS to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead after lifesaving efforts failed.
The deceased has been identified as Gray Hall, a resident of Northeast Washington.
A second victim, an adult female, was found at the scene on Division Avenue with stab wounds. She was taken to an area hospital by DC Fire and EMS for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
