WASHINGTON, D.C. — An armed robbery occurred Monday afternoon on the 1400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE, prompting a crime alert and an active investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department.
The incident took place around 1:34 p.m. on August 26th. According to authorities, three suspects were involved in the robbery, all described as Black males wearing ski masks.
The first suspect was described by police as a black male, wearing glasses, a black ski mask, a black and white sweatshirt, green pants, and gray and white shoes, and was armed with a black rifle. The second suspect was described as a black male, last seen wearing a black ski mask, a gray jacket with a black hoodie underneath, black pants, and black shoes. The third suspect was described as a black male wearing a camouflage hoodie over a black hoodie and blue jeans.
