TRENTON, N.J. — A single Jersey Cash 5 ticket has won the $1,386,281 jackpot from the drawing on Tuesday. The ticket, which matched all five numbers, was sold in Bergen County.
The winning numbers for the August 27 drawing were 07, 15, 37, 38, and 45, with the XTRA number being 02. The Bullseye number drawn was 07. The jackpot-winning ticket was purchased at Krauszer’s Food Store, located at 383 Market St. in Saddle Brook.
According to the New Jersey Lottery, the retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus check for selling the winning ticket. The identity of the winner has not yet been disclosed.
This jackpot win marks a significant event for the small Bergen County community. Lottery officials encourage players to check their tickets and sign the back of any winning ticket immediately.
