BALTIMORE, Md — A 17-year-old male from Baltimore County has been arrested in connection with an armed carjacking that occurred on August 7th in Northern Baltimore. The incident took place in the 3400 block of Greenmount Avenue.
According to investigators, the suspect, along with accomplices, approached a 42-year-old man, demanding his vehicle and implying they were armed. The carjacking resulted in the theft of the victim’s vehicle.
On Tuesday, Warrant Apprehension detectives located the juvenile suspect at his home in Middle River. He was taken into custody without incident and subsequently transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility.
The juvenile has been charged as an adult with carjacking. No further details about the accomplices or additional arrests have been released.
