WASHINGTON, D.C. — A search is underway for two suspects involved in a property destruction offense in Northwest D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
The incident occurred late on Sunday, August 25, at approximately 11:55 p.m. in the 200 block of H Street, Northwest. The suspects defaced property by spray-painting offensive language on the building’s façade and intentionally damaging items.
Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects, and police are seeking the public’s help to identify them.
The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the incident as potentially motivated by hate or bias. The investigation is ongoing, and the designation may change as more information is gathered. The Special Liaison Branch is assisting in the case.
