BALTIMORE, Md. — A 17-year-old male from Baltimore County has been arrested in connection with an armed carjacking that occurred earlier this month in the city’s Northern District, the Baltimore Police Department announced today.
The incident took place on August 7, 2024, in the 3400 block of Greenmount Avenue, where the teen and his accomplices allegedly approached a 42-year-old man and demanded his vehicle, implying they were armed.
On August 27, 2024, Warrant Apprehension detectives located the suspect at his home in Middle River and arrested him without incident. He was subsequently transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged as an adult with carjacking.
The investigation into the involvement of other potential suspects is ongoing, as police continue their efforts to ensure the safety of the community.
