STAFFORD, Va. — An intoxicated woman was arrested on Friday afternoon after allegedly assaulting a juvenile at a McDonald’s on Garrisonville Road, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputy T.S. Myree responded to the incident at the fast-food restaurant located at 893 Garrisonville Road at approximately 2:30 p.m.
The juvenile victim reported that he was eating his meal when an unknown woman demanded that he “get up and move.” The victim refused, citing the absence of assigned seating, at which point the suspect reportedly assaulted him.
The woman was found to be intoxicated and in possession of a small box of wine, according to authorities. She was charged with assault and battery as well as public intoxication.
The suspect was taken into custody and is being held without bond at Rappahannock Regional Jail.
