MANHATTAN, N.Y. — A 17-year-old boy is in critical condition after being shot inside a building in Manhattan’s Inwood neighborhood early Saturday morning, according to police.
The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. near the rooftop vestibule of a building located at 128 Sherman Avenue, the NYPD reported. The teen was shot in the chest and face.
Emergency services transported the victim to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Authorities have not yet determined what led to the shooting, and no arrests have been made.
