LINDEN, N.J. — The Linden Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Pinchus Mordechai Wieder, 34, who was last seen at a synagogue on Friday night. Wieder, who was wearing glasses, a fur hat, and traditional Shabbat clothing, including a black robe, black socks, and loafers, was reported missing after he failed to return home.
According to the Linden Police Department, Wieder’s last known appearance was at the synagogue, where he participated in Shabbat services on the evening of August 23, 2024. Authorities have yet to receive any credible leads regarding his whereabouts and are asking for community cooperation.
“We urge anyone with information about Mr. Wieder’s location to contact us immediately,” the Linden Police Department said in a statement. The department can be reached at (908) 474-8500.
