NEW CITY, N.Y. — Rockland County has been ranked as the third safest county in the United States, according to a recent report by U.S. News & World Report. The accolade highlights the region’s strong focus on public safety and community well-being.
The announcement was made by the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, which attributed the high ranking to the dedicated efforts of local law enforcement and emergency responders. District Attorney Tom Walsh expressed gratitude towards those who contribute to maintaining safety in the county.
