NEW YORK — The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in Queens’ 104th Precinct on Tuesday, August 20.
At approximately 1:59 p.m., two unidentified individuals approached a 28-year-old man near the intersection of Gates Avenue and Fresh Pond Road. Posing as maintenance workers, one of the suspects engaged the victim in conversation as he entered a residence. The suspect then revealed a firearm, and both individuals forced their way inside.
Once inside, the suspects encountered a 70-year-old woman who was also present in the home. The suspects forcibly took $18,000 in cash and a gold bracelet from the victims. They then fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV, heading westbound on Gates Avenue. No injuries were reported.
The NYPD has released images of the suspects and is asking for the public’s help in identifying them. “We urge anyone with information on these individuals to come forward,” the department stated.
