WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — A woman was arrested on Monday afternoon after allegedly making terroristic threats during a confrontation at 205 South Washington Street.
The incident occurred on August 19, 2024, at approximately 12:54 p.m. when officers were dispatched to the location in response to a report of a disorderly female brandishing a knife. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, a 59-year-old Wilkes-Barre man, who stated that the suspect, identified as 46-year-old Lisa Miner of Warrior Run, Pa., had entered the building and bypassed the line of people waiting.
When the victim made a comment about Miner cutting in line, she allegedly displayed a knife and threatened him, stating, “I’ll poke you.” Miner was subsequently taken into custody by responding officers and transported to City Headquarters for processing.
Miner is facing charges related to terroristic threats and was detained without incident. The investigation is ongoing.
