NEW CASTLE, Del. — Delaware State Police have arrested a Wilmington man in connection with an armed robbery that occurred earlier this summer at a New Castle motel. The suspect, identified as 32-year-old Dametris Graham, was taken into custody following a detailed investigation into the July 2 incident at the Red Roof Inn and Suites on North Dupont Highway.
According to the Delaware State Police, Graham and a female accomplice, identified as 30-year-old Alexis Smith, entered the motel at approximately 3:18 a.m. on July 2 and demanded money from the front desk clerk. During the robbery, Graham reportedly jumped over the counter and threatened the clerk with a knife. The clerk complied, and the suspects fled the scene. No injuries were reported.
Investigative efforts have since led detectives to identify two additional suspects involved in the robbery. Arrest warrants have been issued for 37-year-old Matthew Daniels of Philadelphia and 32-year-old Eric Flowers of Brookhaven, Pennsylvania, along with Alexis Smith, who remains at large.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the whereabouts of Smith, Daniels, or Flowers to contact Delaware State Police. “We are actively seeking the public’s assistance in locating these individuals,” the department said in a statement.
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to apprehend the remaining suspects. Anyone with information is encouraged to reach out to Delaware State Police or provide anonymous tips through Delaware Crime Stoppers.
