QUEENS, N.Y. — Police are searching for two individuals involved in a daylight robbery on Thursday, August 15, 2024, on Northern Boulevard. The incident occurred at approximately 3:40 p.m. in front of 127-50 Northern Boulevard, when a 56-year-old man walking on the sidewalk was approached by two unidentified individuals riding a black two-wheeled vehicle.
According to authorities, the suspects slowly rode up to the victim before one of them forcibly removed a gold chain from his neck. The duo then fled westbound on Northern Boulevard towards 127th Place. The victim sustained injuries to his neck but refused medical attention at the scene.
The first suspect is described as a male with a medium build and medium complexion, approximately 6 feet tall and around 30 years old. He was last seen wearing a navy-blue baseball cap, a blue shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
The second suspect is described as a male with a medium build and medium complexion, also approximately 30 years old. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black shirt, black pants, and white and black sneakers.
The New York City Police Department is actively investigating the incident and urges anyone with information to come forward.
