EVESHAM, N.J. — The Evesham Police Department has arrested Bobbyjean Orak, 29, of Hamilton, N.J., in connection with a series of robberies and an attempted robbery at local 7-Eleven stores. Orak was identified as the suspect following an extensive investigation by the Evesham Police Investigative Bureau.
The first robbery occurred on July 31, 2024, when Evesham Police officers responded to a robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 2 East Main Street. The suspect had already fled the scene by the time officers arrived. Shortly thereafter, officers were dispatched to another 7-Eleven at 300 Greentree Road, where a second robbery had just taken place. Surveillance footage confirmed that the same suspect was involved in both incidents. The suspect threatened the use of force and stole cash from both locations before fleeing.
On August 13, 2024, officers were called to the 7-Eleven at 2 East Main Street for an attempted robbery. The store employee reported that a male entered the store and demanded money but fled before receiving any cash. Surveillance footage from this incident also matched the suspect from the July 31st robberies.
Through diligent investigative work, detectives identified Bobbyjean Orak as the suspect. Orak has been charged with robbery, theft, and criminal attempt. He is currently incarcerated in Camden County Jail on unrelated charges. Once his current term is completed, Orak will be transferred to Burlington County Jail, where he will await a detention hearing at the Burlington County Superior Court.
