CUMBERLAND, Md. — On Thursday, August 15, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Brittany Alice Loscig, 26, of Cumberland. The warrant was issued following an incident that occurred on August 12, 2024, in the 400 block of Baltimore Avenue.
Officers responded to a report of trespassing at the location and made contact with Loscig. After an investigation, it was determined that Loscig was unlawfully on the property due to a vacate order that had been posted on June 24, 2024. As a result, an officer filed charges against Loscig in District Court, leading to the issuance of an arrest warrant.
Loscig was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking. After processing, she appeared before a District Court commissioner and was released on an unsecured personal bond.
