PARAMUS, NJ – The Paramus Police Department has announced the passing of Mr. George DiNapoli, a dedicated school crossing guard who served the Ridge Ranch students for 13 years.
Known for his warm smiles and friendly waves, Mr. DiNapoli was a familiar and comforting presence at the intersection of Elden Street and Arnot Place.
Throughout his tenure, George DiNapoli became a cherished figure among the community, remembered for his kindness and the personal connections he formed with those he met.
His daily interactions, especially with students like Antonia, pictured above, underscored his commitment to the safety and well-being of the children.
The Paramus Police Department and the community expressed their deep sorrow and extend their condolences to Mr. DiNapoli’s family and friends.
He will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
