Philadelphia, PA – Former President Donald J. Trump has announced an agreement with Fox News to debate Vice President Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4.
After a debate on ABC but has been canceled due to Biden’s withdrawal and Trump’s ongoing litigation against ABC Network and George Stephanopoulos, citing a conflict of interest, Trump said he would gladly challenge Harris.
The debate will take place in Pennsylvania, with the exact location to be determined. Moderators Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum will oversee the event, which will follow rules similar to those from Trump’s previous debate with Biden and feature a full arena audience.
In recent days, the Harris campaign issued a statement challenging Trump, criticizing his reluctance to face Harris directly. The statement urged Trump to confront the Vice President on stage on September 10, asserting that Harris will be ready to debate.
The move by Trump now puts Harris, who has been on the attack, on defense and America is awaiting her response to the challenge.
“My father already did a debate with Fake News CNN, so is Kamala going to accept the debate with Fox News? Or is she going to be a coward and back out?” the former president’s son, Don, Jr. said on X.
