WASHINGTON, D.C. — Early on the morning of August 1, a business in the 1400 block of Park Road, Northeast, was the target of a burglary, and now the Metropolitan Police Department is calling on the community for assistance in apprehending the suspect.
At approximately 5:00 a.m., police were alerted to the burglary after the suspect broke into the business and stole a sum of money before fleeing the scene. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect, and authorities are now distributing these images in the hope that members of the public might recognize the individual involved.
The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect responsible for this crime.
