NEWARK, NJ – Eric Nicholas Gapco, a 26-year-old New Jersey man, was arrested following a series of disruptive behaviors on an American Airlines flight from Seattle to Dallas, which necessitated an emergency landing in Salt Lake City.
The incident occurred after Gapco, reportedly under the influence of 10 cannabis edibles, attempted multiple times to open the aircraft’s door and made inappropriate advances towards a flight attendant.
